Midcoast Mower Racing Club also known as the “Mower Mulisha” had three representatives compete in last week’s All Australian Mower Racing Championships.

David and Valita Reynolds and Damien Brown competed with the latter setting the fifth fastest lap time in qualifying and was less than two seconds behind the two time Australian champion.

Brown was put into the top grade and finished in sixth position despite having a did not finish in his opening heat.

"It was awesome and I would do it again in a heartbeat,” Brown said.

“I went there expecting to possibly make it into B grade at best so when I qualified in A grade I was over the moon.”

I set the 5th fastest lap in qualifying (just 1.82 sec behind the 2 time Aussie Champion) and finished outright 6th against Australia's best A grade drivers despite having a DNF in heat 1.

Valita drove well and took out 3rd place in D-grade.

Dave qualified as a C-grade entrant but unfortunately for him his chain fell off in his final heat.
