With Andrew and Mitch donating the trophys the day was well supported by not only members but visitors and workmates from the local area. 

A big thank you goes to both of them and to all the helpers on the day. A donation of around $5,000 was given to the club by Andrew from the day.

To the golf side of things on the day which was a 18 hole 4 person Ambrose event. The winners of the shield for the best team was Ethan Dowling, Mat Lewis, G Biddle and L Killmore with a great score. 

Then onto Saturday and the rain did come back for the morning players in the 18 hole 2 person Ambrose again sponsored by Andrew and Mitch. With the rain came a reduced size in the field but those that did play did enjoy the day. 

And it was the early morning pair that did enjoy the conditions with a good score of 59 net to take out the event. Andrew Watts and partner Mitch Edwards did combined very well together to get the top prize on Saturday.

In the runner up spot on Saturday was the afternoon pairing of Steven Pearson and Zachary Pritchard who had a score of 631/4 net for there 18 holes. 

Winners of the ntp's at the 3rd hole were Steve Pearson 'A', Brian Stringer 'B', Mitch Edwards 'C'. At the 8th hole the winners were Rick Nicholson 'A', Marinus Tapper 'B'.

The winners at the 11th hole were Andrew Watts 'A'. Zachary Pritchard was the only winner at the 16th hole in the 'B' grade. 

Tomorrow at the club the 2017 John Daley Open 18 hole Medley 4bbb Stableford and Individual event will be held which will be the Qualifying round for the 2017 4bbb KO will be held.

The top 8 pairs will be placed into the draw for the KO. So all players are asked to mark your card with a 'YES' if you wish to be considered for the KO.

The draw will be done and placed up in the club for all teams to see who they play and when By.

On the scoreboard roster tomorrow will be the week 4 team of Peter Hudson and Steven Pearson.
