The event has attracted a field of 41 cars and crews and will compete over six timed stages within the tamban state forest commecning at 2pm from BP Clybucca Roadhouse.
Last year’s runner-up, Nathan Quinn from Coffs Harbour will be back again, this year in his classic Mazda RX2, while a number of local crews will also be competing.
Brett and James Sutherland in their Mazda 323 Familia will be hoping for a good result after electrical issues forced them out in stage 4 last year.
Lindsay Collits of Macksville finished best K.S.C.C. Entry last year in his Triton Ute and will be back to try and do it again this year.
Eungai’s Paul Mountford will be making his BP Clybucca Rally debut in his Subraru WRX, Paul has been involved in organising the event for many years and is looking forward to trying his luck around the track.
Scott Wheeldon and Sue Thompson will also be returning in their Gemini Coupe, as will Ken Lang and Graham Holdem in their Toyota Celica.
Mick Williams of Macksville will be another first time competitor in his Datsun 180B.
Spectators will be catered for with two points visited twice. Instructing will be available at the BP Clybucca Roadhouse.
