It’ll be the first time that the show, which will run over September 16-17, will be held during spring.
The Kempsey Show Society’s Chris Anderson said the show would have an “emphasis on youth”.
“There’ll be a young farmer’s competition for the first time, and the camp draft will be coming back,” Mr Anderson said.
The agreement to hold the show in spring was made in conjunction with the Group Two Agricultural Society.
The decision to postpone the show was made earlier this year by the Kempsey Show Society over concerns about health and safety conditions.
The postponing, four weeks before the show was meant to be held, was made after heavy weather over the two weeks prior made the show ring soft underfoot.
A meeting of members and those interested in volunteering at the show will be held at the showground on Tuesday, July 4 at 6pm.
