Jennie Preston, Nancy McNamara and Wendy Rogan represented our club in the Central North Coast Medal Final at Coffs Harbour recently with a field of over 40 players. The course has plenty of bunkers and water hazards to negotiate, which is not an easy task for visitors. Although they didn’t share the winners circle, all three played strongly with Wendy coming home just 7 strokes behind the winner in her division.

A day of fun and laughter was held last Wednesday instead of the usual competition round. A 6x6x6 stableford was played in teams of 3, with Robin Taylor, Jennie Preston and Nancy McNamara taking the honours. Kerry Cashman, Noelene Sheridan and Polly Ransfield were the runners up and also took out nearest the pin on the 3rd.
Tomorrow is a stroke event. If you would like a game, come along as new players are always welcome.
