The Tigers grabbed an early goal but the Saints found their feet and Adam Stutz levelled the scores before Liam King put his side in front before the break.
The momentum stayed with the Saints as Kurtis Smith found the back of the net twice before Tom Salter added Saints’ fifth goal.
The Tigers were able to grab a late consolation goal.
“The real strength of the reserve grade side is they have been able to make the most of the opportunities they are creating,” stand-in reserve grade coach Matt Baker said.
“They had a slow start to the contest but they looked dangerous once they woke up and were pressing forward.”
Saints and the Macleay Valley Rangers do battle in a top of the table clash with the two sides drifting away from the rest of the competition.
Rangers trail Saints by five competition points but Rangers have a five competition point buffer on the Tigers who sit in third place.
