The Rangers have a seven competition point cushion between them and Port Saints with two sides three points behind them.
Port Saints lost 5-1 and then 4-0 within four days against the Wildcats as they played their round four catch up game Wednesday July 19.
The Saints defeated Wauchope 4-1 last night in another make up game.
The Macleay Valley Rangers will take on the Kempsey Saints in a local derby on Saturday.
