From Thursday August 24 to Sunday September 3, the seaside watering hole celebrates all things Bavarian including food, drink, and entertainment. Feast on Seabreeze Beach Hotel’s hearty winter dishes and wash it all down with Bucket Brewery’s Bavarian-style Schwarz (black) beer. Musicians will charm and entertain the crowd on both weekends, so get practicing your yodelling and thigh-slapping.
Indulge in oven roast pork knuckle, sauerkraut and potato dumplings; pork belly with mash, green beans, beer and onion sauce; and you can’t go without a Bratwurst and Goulash dish.
German Fest is held in partnership with Sculptures in the Gaol at Trial Bay Gaol, Arakoon. Take a glimpse into Australian/German history and art while overlooking amazing views of South West Rocks.
Feeling inspired to head off to the real deal? Rocks Travel hosts a European Travel Expo at the Seabreeze Beach Hotel on Friday September 1 from 2pm. Come along and plan your next European adventure while sampling the German fare, music and beer.
Seabreeze Beach Hotel offers accommodation packages for the event. Soak up the sun, enjoy great German fare and make a weekend of it.
