Close to 200 people enjoyed the show across the three performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday, more than 100 knowledgeable patrons experienced melodic renditions of 21 famous songs from a wide range of the duo's repertoire, a well-researched commentary and a delightful excerpt of dialogue from the Mikado.
Audience members commented very favourably on the innovative format of the production.
President of the Kempsey Singers, Brian Lindbec,k said he is thrilled with the attendance.
"I was really happy about the number of people that turned up," Mr Lindbeck said.
"It's great to see people of all ages, but especially younger people, seeing live theatre, in some cases for the first time, and really enjoying it."
Following the extremely well-received performances at the Bandbox last weekend, the Kempsey Singers will complete their season of A Tribute to Gilbert and Sullivan on Friday, Saturday (8pm), and Sunday (2pm) this weekend.
