There will be a strong Kempsey representation in the event with Sammy Davies, Jarryd Oram, James Chapman and Nick Lahey to competing.
The five will need to battle against the best in NSW with Mick Kirkness and Luke Richards in attendance.
Richard and Kirkness won’t feel out of place on Greenhill Speedway as they have both claimed victory in the Akubra Classic.
Eighteen-year-old Davies will be returning to competition for the first time since breaking his leg.
Davies is new to the senior competition but has made his presence felt with positive results.
Macleay District Motor Cycle Club’s publicity officer Odette Wooderson is expecting excellent racing with 57 junior and senior riders entering the competitions.
Kempsey’s Jayden Holder will be competing in the Under 7-10 junior division on Saturday.
Holder has won three NSW state titles, two at Tamworth and one in Newcastle.
The eight-year-old returned from a broken arm to claim the victory in the long course event at Kurri Kurri.
Max Whal is another senior competitor to keep an eye on.
He entered into the seniors competition for the first time two months ago and he won plenty of championships in the junior divisions.
Gates will open on Saturday at 7am with racing to commence at 9am.
Entry is $10 for adults and free for children under the age of 12.
Canteen facilities are available.
The NSW State Titles at the Greenhill Speedway were brought forward a week to avoid coinciding with the Kempsey Show.
