South West Rocks Golf Club’s head professional Shaun Piper believes it is a great opportunity to see first hand how the best players conduct themselves on the course.
“Members get to see the professionals prepare and what they do before each shot they take,” Piper said.
“It will give them a good insight into what it takes to perform at the highest level.
“They will also be able to hear plenty of stories from the professional they are teamed with.”
Nathan Green, James Nitties and Matthew Giles are arguably the most famous golfers to be teeing off at the Rocks on Friday.
Green has four wins on the PGA Tour and entered a playoff round against Tiger Woods and José María Olazábal but was eliminated after the first hole.
Piper said it is one of the biggest days of the year for the golf club and one the members all look forward to competing in.
“There is always a good vibe heading into the day, everyone is excited to play and it will be an enjoyable day,” Piper said.
It is $40 per person to enter and it includes lunch and a schooner.
