The 16-year-old earned selection into the North Coast Zone Open side and there is a chance Clarke will line up for their opposition, the Western Suburbs District Cricket Club’s first grade side.
“It would be pretty incredible to come up against Michael Clarke,” Korn said.
“I would try and get advice off him and learn as much as I can.”
Korn is quickly making a name for himself as one of the best junior cricketers on the Mid North Coast and his selection comes after a strong performance at the NSW State Challenge last month.
He missed out on selection into the NSW Country side but he took the disappointment in his stride.
“It means I need to work harder and keep getting better,” Korn said.
Korn was selected into the side as the wicketkeeper.
