The Kempsey Saints reserve grade side will keep a close eye on the reserve grade preliminary final between the Macleay Valley Rangers and Forster-Tuncurry Tigers at Dangar St Oval on Saturday.

The Saints, who reached the grand final last week with a 1-0 win over the Tigers, will face the winning side in the decider on Saturday September 23.

Saints reserve grade coach Kevin Sinclair said he will be at the game on Saturday and work on his side’s gameplan after the contest.

The Rangers and Tigers reserve grade match kicks off at 12.45pm.

The Saints finished the season as minor premiers and have a winning record against the Tigers and Rangers this year.

Saints defeated the Rangers 2-1 in their last regular season meeting.

The grand final will be held at Port Regional Stadium in Port Macquarie.
