The 2018 Sing Bike and Barge Tour takes you from Amsterdam north through woodlands, wetlands and historic towns. It winds its way through the Ijssel Valley past elegant merchant houses and ancient city walls in the towns of Doesburg, Zutphen, Deventer, Zwolle and Kampen.
From Kampen the route continues over cycle paths through the forested Veluwe National Park and through the traditional fishing towns of Elburg and Spakenburg. The Sarah Barge will be your home for nine nights.
Each day includes singing workshops in a variety of interesting historic venues. The guided bicycle tours will be about 30-35 km with an option to do longer stretches. If you don’t want to cycle, or want a rest from cycling you can use public transport to and from the venues.
The cost per person - (twin share) is $3700 very earlybird – before October 15; $3800 early bird – before December 31; $3800 youth (under 25), $3900 after December 31; Cost per person - (3-person share) is $3500. You can also book one to five extra nights on the barge at the end of the tour, from September 10-15, at a cost of $125 per person per night, which includes breakfast. Optional bicycle hire is $20 per bike per day.
The cost includes daily singing workshops led by Rachel Hore; cost of workshop venues; bicycle rental; guided bicycle tours; public transport; accommodation on the Sarah barge; all meals and entrance to tourist attractions along the way. It does not include air fares to and from Amsterdam or travel insurance.
