At the Kempsey Golf Club last Saturday it was the last chance for Members to claim a Monthly Medal and be in the running for the 2016-17 Gold Medal Play-Off. With Medals up for grabs the Members and Visitors took to the fairway's in the 2017 Coastline Credit Union 18 hole Stroke event on the day. A big thank you goes to Peter and his team for there sponsorship on the day and again a big thanks goes to the hard working volunteers during the week.

After the renovations were done on the course there has been a good number of good scores and this was the case again on Saturday with some fine net scores in all 3 grades.

After hitting off in the first group at 7am so he can get to play cricket now in the afternoons in the Rovers 'A' grade side our 2017 Club Junior champion Bradley Dyet continued his fine form and returned with a net 68 to claim his first medal of the year in the 'A' grade on Saturday. Chris Gorman who was actually playing in the very last group of the day was the 'B' grade Medal winner with  a net 70 and the 'C grade winner of the medal was John Baker with a net 62.

So the 3 winners will now join the other Medal winners from the past 12 months in the play off for the gold medal which will be held on Saturday November 4th.

Besides the winners getting the medals the runner up players on the day in each grade were Mark Morrison 'A' with a net 69, Clem Cochrane 'B' with a net 71 and in the 'C' grade it was Jill Stringer with a net 71.

The winners of the ntp's at the Macleay Valley Vet Services 3rd hole were Graeme Dyet 'A', Matt Morris 'B', John Baker 'C'. At the K&J Meats 11th hole the winners were Bradley Dyet 'A', Bret Baldwin 'B', Darby Ellis 'C' & Gail Simon 'L'.

In the weekly ball competition the run done of balls went to players with a net 74 on a count-back and they can be collected from the pro shop at the club.
