A heaving crowd turned out to enjoy the racing on a goldilocks day where the weather was not too hot nor cold – ‘just right’.
As ever, locals and visitors alike turned out in their Sunday best, for a party atmosphere where the emphasis was every bit as much on sharing good times with friends as it was on watching thoroughbreds go around.
Your Argus team were there of course with cameras at the ready, and the images proved among the most viewed of any in 2017.
For the record, the Kempsey Cup was taken out by Lippy and Pearls.
