Locals gathered, picnic chairs and Santa hats at the ready, at the Kempsey Riverside Park on Saturday December 2 to mark the countdown to Christmas.
The night wast jam-packed with live music, street-food, fireworks, Santa photos and not to mention 165 market stalls.
To top it all off , fireworks lit up the sky at 8:30pm.
Kids donned Santa hats and got their fingers sticky on the array of delicious food including pizza, BBQ goods, German sausages, Asian food, and pancakes.
Locals were treated to a special performance from the Kempsey Silver Band at 8pm while Santa made an appearance flanked by some trusty white husky dogs.
The Twilight Markets were just the start of what is set to be a chock-full Christmas calendar for the Macleay community this year.
