Pink and white balloons and streamers adorned the railings, and the club was made over for a night of fun and laughter to raise funds for the worthy cause.
Carol Webb from the organising team said around sixty ladies supported the event, joining in games, enjoying the delicious finger food provided, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.
Raffles and games were a big part of the night with prizes donated by local businesses, including South West Rocks Country Club, Seabreeze Hotel, Rawspice Boutique and The Slim Dusty Centre. Local quilter, Cheryl Filby donated one of her beautiful handmade quilts.
Other local ladies also made donations of gifts and prizes for the games.
“All the frivolity produced a final tally of over $1200,” Carol said.
“What an amazing effort! Thank you to all the ladies of South West Rocks for your fantastic support.”
