The countdown has begun with the Macleay Youth Laneway Festival set to take centre stage on Saturday 13 April along the award-winning Kempsey laneways.

All the festivities are happening in and around the Clyde Street Mall including the street art along Savages Lane and Elringtons Lane.
From 2pm - 6pm, the streets are set to come alive with vibrant art, interactive activities, market stalls, and live street performances including;
- . Dance performance by Dynamic Studios - 2pm
- . Aerial arts by Dynamic Studios - 2.10pm and 4.05pm
- . Live music by Rhetorical? (on stage) - 2.40pm and 4.20pm
- . Acoustic set by Ivy Sletten (on stage) - 2.25pm
- . Acrobatic breakdance street show by BBoy iLLWiLL - 3.10pm and 5.15pm
- . Comedy contortionist street show by Bendy Em - 3.40pm and 4.50pm
- . Fire twirling show by Lilly's Sacred Fire Flow - 5.45pm
For those keen to be part of the action, the hip hop breakdance workshop for beginners by BBoy iLLWiLL is open to all.

From the inspiring youth art exhibition, virtual reality and e-gaming to market stalls, a silent disco, food trucks, face painting, a petting zoo, this is a family friendly drug and alcohol-free event.
This event forms part of Kempsey Shire Council's NSW Youth Week celebrations and is supported by NSW Government and Community Housing Ltd.
