Job Description

• Supporting with the preparation of the month end procedures and monthly financial and management reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals
• Reviewing and posting inter-company transactions and reconciliation
• Supporting Accounts Payable and Receivable procedures
• Maintaining Fixed Asset register
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and autonomously where required
• Working with internal and external stakeholders and providing exceptional customer service

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess the following credentials:

• Bachelor of Commerce in Finance or Accounting
• Studying towards CA/CPA qualification
• 2 years experience in a similar role, working within the Industrial sector preferred but not essential
• Desirable knowledge of accounting systems and excel

The successful candidate will also possess the following:

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organisation
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
• Willing and eager to learn and utilise initiative
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to adapt and be flexible in order to support the wider team objectives
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Solid time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Must be able to drive
