Job Description

Your new opportunity at Nine

As the Data Product Development Manager a key part of your role is to drive the data product road map under the guidance of the Director of Data Products.

You will manage a pipeline of data projects and deliver these projects in a timely manner that meets Nine customer expectations.Your role will strengthen Nine’s continued success in being a market leading innovator in the field of digital data products.

Day to day you will:

  •  Manage the pipeline of data product projects to support and grow the data revenues across the Nine Digital business

  •  Work with the Director of Data Products to turn the data strategy into a deliverable project timeline

  •  Work collaboratively across Product, Technical and Trade Marketing teams to drive product change across the business

  •  Develop a deep understanding of ad-tech and mar-tech vendors across the global and AU market

  •  Work with external vendors in driving incremental improvements across our Data Product portfolio

  •  Update and manage the Data Products GTM across our Audience Insights and Measurement products working collaboratively with our Nine Trade Marketing team

  • Update and manage our segment catalogue across our 1st Party data and 3rd Party data

  • Gather market intelligence across our competitors

  • On-board new data partnerships working alongside the award winning, market leading data product team

  • Develop meaningful relationships across the wider Nine business to drive product change


Enough about us, let's talk about you

In order to be successful for this role, you will ideally have:

  • 5 - 7 year’s product management experience across Ad-tech, agency, or mar-tech industry

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications 

  • Self-starter who can work in an ambiguous, fast paced environment

  • Superior project management experience

  • Superior influencing skills

  • Passion for the data and digital industry
