Development Manager

We currently have a number of opportunities in Penrith within Government for experienced Development Managers to undertake either a permanent or 3 year contract working within a successful Development team.
This role will be responsible for leading projects through the full development project lifecycle (including acquisition, planning, development, financial control, marketing, leasing and sales).

Key elements of the role will include but not limited to:

Managing and leading a range of project related activities around acquisition, planning, development and financial control, marketing and sale of various land development projects within approved limits.

Managing and successfully leading project teams to achieve agreed outcomes Facilitating and investigating property solutions through leasing, tenancy, statutory (property) and other development opportunities.

This includes the identification and recommendation for developed / undeveloped land or facilities for commercial and/or community assets. Assisting in the management of Council’s property portfolio through sustainable asset management and financial management practices.

We currently have three available opportunities within the team:
1 x permanent role (with a focus on Project & Development Delivery)
1 x temporary 3-year role (with a focus on Project & Development Delivery)

1 x temporary 3-year role (with a focus on Acquisitions and Compulsory Acquisitions)
