About the Opportunity
Peter Elberg Funerals are seeking an experienced Funeral Director to join their team.
The successful applicant will be the key contact for families to provide them with end-to-end service and support, from the initial consultation to closing out all accounts and communications post-service.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
Regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. On occasion you will need to be available for Saturday services if specifically requested by families.
About You
You are an empathetic, positive, and community-minded person, with outstanding organisational skills and a strong eye for detail. You have a good sense of initiative and are comfortable making independent decisions, working collaboratively in a supportive team, and bring the following:
It would be ideal if you have previously worked in the funeral profession or similar role. The ideal applicant may also have experience in event management or coordination.
