About the company

A market leading business that has been providing the residential and light commercial building and construction industry with high quality service and innovative foundation systems solutions. Enjoying continued success and implementing bold expansion plans, they are wanting an experienced and proven National Sales and Marketing Manager to join the team and drive the business into new ventures, whilst retaining their dominant market share.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, this is a key position that is highly influential and will have a seat at the head table as part of the Senior Leadership Team. Managing a national team, this role sits across both the Sales and Marketing functions of the business where you are required to develop, execute, and implement strategies that ensures company's growth plans and targets are achieved.

This role will require you to:

  • Work collaboratively with the business on the 12 month rolling Sales and Marketing demand plan that aligns with the business's objectives.
  • Lead from the front in new Business Development and Key Account Management activities.
  • Grow, manage, coach, and develop the sales and marketing team creating a positive team environment and a high performing culture.
  • Create and build lasting and profitable relationships with Master Agents, Resellers and existing clients with a view to strategically chart into new markets that are commercially viable.
  • Ensure the marketing strategies and campaigns are supporting sales growth, and continuously creating brand awareness.
  • Contribute and be an influential member of the business working collaboratively and coherently with other departments and stakeholders.

Skills, Experience and Opportunity

The successful applicant will possess the below skills and experience:

  • A proven track record of sales and management within the residential building and construction industry or manufacturing.
  • Be commercially savvy with the ability to map out and analyse market trends and competitor analysis to stay ahead of the game.
  • Experience in executing growth strategies that break through into new markets.
  • An understanding in Franchise Networks and/or Master Agent Distribution channels.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a conceptual thinker backed by a high degree of commercial acumen to help form business planning and key strategies
  • Be a true team player and be an integral team member demonstrating positive behaviours, a self-starting attitude and a highly customer centric approach.
