About Our Client

• A Technology Manufacturer, who build, deploy and support an array of advanced hardware and telecommunication solutions that allow communication at the edge, are currently looking for an experienced Network Engineer / Architect as their first Engineer on the ground in Australia.
• They have been established for over 30 years and already have a global presence, however, this would be their first Network Engineer on the ground in Australia, where they have now started to expand.
• You would be working very closely with their oversees R&D team, so will have the opportunity to input ideas and solutions into this advanced technical solutions, which help to transform operations across some various, exciting industries.

Job Description

• Have experience, designing, implementing and supporting Cisco networks, including network virtualisation.
• Have core experience across the following; Cisco Catalyst and ISR, Nexus 1000v, VSOM, CSR 1000v, ASAv, JUNOS, Palo Alto, IPSEC/SSL VPN on ASA, IOS and IOS XE and ideally have a Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification.
• Cellular, radio, telco, 3G, LTE exp highly desired.
• WAN Acceleration, Citrix, Riverbed, Cisco Call Manager/VoIP etc an advantage.
• Any general systems/virtualisation technologies an advantage, such as VMWare, vSan, Nutanix.
