Job Description

Your new opportunity at Nine.

An opportunity exists for an experienced digital product commercialisation expert to join the Sales organisation within Nine on an 18-month Fixed Term Parental Leave role. The role of Product Commercialisation Manager – branded content & integration is to create profitable, high quality, relevant and compelling branded content and integration led commercial solutions across the digital product portfolio that drive revenue generation through the Sales and Nine Powered teams. It is responsible for revenue generation from branded content and integration by developing market-leading solutions, embedding them within Nine’s broader product set and supporting the sales function. 

The Product Commercialisation Manager – branded content & integration plays an important role in shaping Nine’s advertising capabilities & offering for its portfolio of websites and apps. 

Day to day you will:

  • Develop and deliver commercial strategy to maximise revenue generated from branded content and integration across Nine’s product portfolio
  • Be the specialist sales expert in branded content and integration marketing solutions for Nine’s sales team and clients
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercialisation of Nine’s digital assets through branded content and integration led initiatives such as developing integration products for wagering partners across Nine’s sports websites and apps
  • Partner with a diverse set of stakeholders across Sales, Powered Studios and Content Partnerships, Campaign Operations, Pricing & Inventory, Product and Editorial to design and manage the roll out plan for new branded content
  • Work with Studios, Content Partnerships and Trade Marketing to produce product-specific go-to-market materials that defines core strengths of Nine’s branded content and integration led products and positions them effectively in market
  • Evangelise Nine’s branded content and integration products internally and in market, and work with Content Partnerships and Studios to create opportunities beyond the current product set where appropriate
  • Work closely with Studios and Content Partnerships to create commercial packages and sales collateral for existing and new branded content and integration solutions
  • Be the point person for Sales and Commercial Partnerships around ideas for new branded content and integration led products; design product solutions; and incorporate into the roadmap where appropriate
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the branded content and integration advertising market, local and international trends, buyer strategies and competitor offerings; and develop actionable insights that can be used to shape future decisions around the branded content and integration product portfolio
  • Provide sales enablement for selling branded content and integration led solutions through training, market & competitive insights, creation of ‘playbooks’, and articulation of the go-to-market proposition

Qualifications

In order to be successful for this role, you will ideally have:

  • 8 years+ in sales and commercial roles in digital media with sound knowledge of the branded content and integration advertising market
  • Proven track record in consistently delivering revenue budgets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to craft compelling sales stories and present in front of large audience
  • Passion for digital advertising
