Project Manager (ITS/Traffic Systems)

Your new role
Manage an extensive program of engineering projects, monitoring key milestones and deliverables. Undertake minor, moderately and complex multidisciplinary engineering projects/programs. Adhere to project management methodology and consistently deliver projects on time, within budget, to agreed quality and with a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.

Duties include:

• Undertake the project management for development of forward projects (for 23/24 and beyond projects) for the Traffic Systems Infrastructure Program (including traffic signals refurbishments, ITS etc.). This includes:
  • Liaison with other stakeholders to develop 23/24 program to include projects that consider asset needs, traffic signal hardware conditions, pinch point reviews etc.
  • Update and manage the forward projects under the City’s project management software
  • Develop project brief including consultation management plans, project scope, risk matrix for 23/24 projects
• Development of the new 23/24 Traffic System Infrastructure program
• Assist with the delivery of Street Lighting projects 2021 – 2022
• Assist with the delivery of small ITS projects such as active travel counters, WIM sites

What you'll need to succeed
You will possess extensive experience in all aspects of Project Management and sound experience with delivery of street lighting and ITS projects.
