About the role

GrainCorp is currently seeking a Quality Assistant based at our Carrington, Newcastle site. This is a permanent position.

The responsibilities of the role will include:
 

• Providing administrative, reporting and technical support in Quality Assurance functions in the day to day management of the Laboratory operation, reporting through to a Quality Supervisor
• Maintaining and monitor quality reporting systems supporting the operations. Undertake reporting from systems as required
• Supporting the compliance of Health, Safety and Environment management systems, policies and procedures
• Hands on sampling of Grain

About your experience

Candidates will have prior experience in a quality role in an agriculture, food or manufacturing industry. Candidates will also display:
 

• Understanding of grain quality standards, testing and systems
• Intermediate - advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, databases and systems) 
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels 
• An Authorised Officer (AO) accreditation will be beneficial
