Your Impact

As a teacher at Goodstart Elizabeth Vale you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.  

Goodstart Early Learning Elizabeth Vale is in Adelaide’s north, near Lyell McEwen Hospital, surrounded by parklands. Licenced for 72 children, catering to all early learning age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is open from 6.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The centre is committed to creating a warm and welcoming community focused centre. They look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children.  

Having many long term, dedicated staff members, they are a diverse centre and support culturally diverse families.

The service is currently working with a Child and Family Practitioner will be working with Elizabeth Vale 3 days per week.

Goodstart Elizabeth Vale also runs a free Indigenous Playgroup for the local community

You’ll help achieve this by

• Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Hold a current SA Teachers Registration
• Hold a current First Aid qualification
• Full time permanent role, within the Pre-Kindy Room
• Plan innovative and engaging learning experiences. Would love to see a creative flair injected into activity stations and learning experiences
• Champion positive and meaningful relationships with children

If you have previous experience as a Centre Director/Assistant Director/Senior Educator or in a centre leadership position, or similar, then we want to meet you!
