Centre: Goodstart Kelso Riverway Drive

Employment Type: Full-time, $33 - $43 per hour

Your Impact  

We are looking for a vibrant Kindergarten teacher to join the team at Goodstart Kelso Riverway Drive! We are a 75-place long day care centre, located close to local state and private schools. We are also a short drive from the university and hospital. This role offers a set shift time between 8:00am-9:00am - 4:00pm-5:30pm and up to 6 hours programming time each week.

Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework. We develop holistic, rich, fun and supportive programs accounting for each child’s individual interests needs and strengths: and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take that all-important transition to school.

As our Teacher you will inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive.

Requirements

  • Approved bachelor degree in early childhood education or ACECQA approved equivalent
  • Blue card or an Exemption Card with QLD Teachers Registration (Registration preferred but not essential
  • Up to date Professional Teachers Accreditation 
  • First Aid qualification
