Job Summary
AECOM’s Bridges & Structures Group for Qld & NT is looking for an engaging and collaborative professional to provide technical leadership, team management and mentoring to our highly experienced group based in Brisbane. Leading a team of around 40 professionals across engineering, design and asset management backgrounds, you will be a contemporary leader who promotes a culture of teamwork and technical excellence. In return you will be supported by a group of senior staff skilled across a range of technical fields and project management.
Working as part of our Civil Infrastructure Leadership Team (QNT), you will contribute to the strategic direction of our Bridges & Structures Group, promoting and supporting a range of business initiatives across the sector. Your strong relationships with clients and your drive to win work will bring in new business and support the continued growth of our team to deliver for our new and existing clients. You will be a hands-on leader, responsible for the team’s performance in both winning and delivering large-scale projects across the QNT region.

Minimum Requirements
We are looking for a motivated leader who is passionate about training and mentoring, bringing out the best in people and fostering an environment that promotes a diverse and inclusive space. You will have a commitment to leading creative and innovative developments in engineering technology and continuous improvement systems, supporting your team to deliver high quality outcomes.
Your extensive consulting experience, specifically working on large-scale civil infrastructure projects, and strong connections to the QLD market will enable you to quickly establish meaningful relationships with your team and the wider business. You will have strong experience in working within the Transport sector, desirably including TMR project work (or equivalent transport authority). Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to develop a strong client base will be key to your success.
