Lachlan, writer and producer of the plays “Rivertown” and “God’s Waiting Room” as well as being a finalist for the Australian Poetry Slam in 2013, brought his acclaimed production “Sex, Cynicism and other Small Miracles” to Kempsey, which he performed to a sold out audience in the Oddfellows Hall in August 2015.
He is pursuing his dream of bringing his writing talents to the world, by being accepted to perform at the New York Fringe Festival in August this year.
His production team includes his good friend, musician and co-writer Garrett Riley plus other musicians, who will be performing a revised edition of this spoken word show “Sex, Cynicism and other Small Miracles” to the audiences of New York City.
This requires, transporting his crew of five to New York for two weeks.
This whole operation comes at considerable cost for a young struggling artist and so he has embarked on a crowd funding program with INDIEGOGO to help fund the show.
If you would like to get behind this local talent and help him make his words heard in NYC, log into www.indiegogo.com – Sex Cynicism and Other Small Miracles – FringeNYC and contribute what you can afford or spread the word on your social media sites.

Love is fleeting.
Our dependence on pharmaceuticals is slowly killing us.
An Australian country boy and an urban vagrant coax spoken word, rock-n-roll and theatre into a raucous threesome exploring why each and every one of these things are beautiful.
