“This is an important conversation for the business community. Sharing ideas and developing a united approach to economic development is essential. We invite people to come with their thinking caps on ready to share their ideas on what is so special about the region and how we can actively improve local business conditions.” said Lisa McPherson, Executive Officer of the Macleay Valley Business Chamber.
The Guest Speaker for the evening is Kerry Grace, CEO of Regional Development Australia Mid North Coast (MNC) who will be speaking about the Mid North Coast Investment Document; a report that outlines opportunity and highlights benefits of investing in the Mid North Coast to live, work and play.
In her role as CEO of RDAMNC, Kerry aims to contribute to the organisation’s vision of a Mid North Coast that embeds a culture of “innovation, opportunity, inclusion and economic prosperity”.
Kerry is a strong advocate of opportunities in economic development for people throughout the region with a particular focus on the region’s priorities of Indigenous communities, youth and the ageing population.
The Chamber is seeking feedback on the night as to what is the Macleay Valley’s Unique Selling Point and how the Chamber and wider business community can encourage economic growth in the region.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The cost for the evening is $25 Members, $30 Non Members (includes dinner). Please RSVP for catering purposes by emailing admin@kempseychamber.com.au
