Two Crescent Head swimmers, Laura and Sarah Buls, competed at the Swimming New South Wales Achievers Squad Meet at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic centre.

This meet is for swimmers who have qualified for Country and those who are just under this level. Most of the swimmers who made the big trek down from the North Coast had never been to this Olympic facility.
Laura competed in the 50m backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle and butterfly.
Meanwhile Sarah competed in the 50m backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, butterfly and 200m freestyle relay.
Out of all the areas in the state who swum, Swimming North Coast won the overall points score.
Laura is aged 12 while Sarah is 14.
