The Macleay Valley Mustangs are looking forward to the 2018 season.

While we’re yet to officially appoint coaches we have an experienced coaching team ready to start pre season.

The Mustangs aren’t simply about football; they are about family and community. The people within the club are fabulous role models and it’s the committee’s intention to ensure the club’s long-term future. We feel it’s our responsibility to give back and make a difference in the community that has always given us such passionate support.

The new committee are determined to create a family friendly atmosphere at home games. Our plan is to run a youth program, called Mustangs Cares, focussing on Aboriginal culture, health and well-being.

Fortunately we have Macleay Crossfit coordinating our pre-season and ensuring all teams have the conditioning required to build on last season’s on-field success. As part of our community commitment we are opening up pre-season training to anyone who is interested in getting Crossfit. Training commences on Tuesday, December 5 at 6pm at Verge Street.

We are seeking sponsors for on field apparel and our community youth program. If anyone is interested in supporting the Macleay’s number one rugby league club please contact us at macleayvalleymustangsrlfc@gmail.com or on 0411788510.
