Skipper Danny Powick said his team has had a patchy start to the year and would need to work on its batting to be a force in the competition.
“Last week we had our first win, it was quite comfortable in the end but obviously the guys were nervous because we hadn’t won all year,” he told the Argus.
“Hopefully, we can get on a role and get a couple more wins leading into Christmas.
“Our batting needs to improve.
“We need to bat our allotted 40 overs.
“We’ve had disruptions to our batting line-up due to injuries and other commitments but that’s no excuse.”.
Rovers will be without Tim Smith (prior commitments) and Jackson Korn this week who is away on representative duty for the Macquarie Coast Stingers.
The match begins at 1.30pm.
