They face a new test this weekend as they go up against the Port Saints, who are fresh off a 4-2 loss to the Taree Wildcats in round one.
The Rangers’ victory erased the three competition points deficit they started the season on.
The side is now on 0 competition points and sits in fifth position on the ladder.
Rangers will need to back up the next day for their FFA Cup clash with Wallis Lake.
The match will be held at Boronia Park and kick off is scheduled for 2pm.
The winning team will join Port United, Port Saints and Kempsey Saints in the next round.
