Ron Ingall is proving to be the golfer of the month at the Kempsey Golf Club with another victory last Saturday in the ‘C’ grade with a round of 41 points after he won the week before in the Monthly Medal Stroke event. Not only has Ron won the Saturday events he has also won the Veterans event on the Tuesday over the last two weeks and again on Tuesday just past. Ron on Saturday was playing in the 2018 Amcal Max Single Stableford event which attracted a good field of 74 players and saw visitors from Frederickton, SWR, Tuggerah Lakes, Nambucca Heads, Wauchope & Howlong Country Club. Again a very big thank you goes to our sponsors on the day and to all the volunteers for there work on the course during the week.

With Ron declared the winner of ‘C’ grade the runner up was Susan Woods from SWR with a score of 38 points on a count back.
After taking out the 2018 Club Championship Ian Rudd has continued his fine form with a round of 39 points to claim the ‘A’ grade on Saturday from Cedric Rudd who had a score of 38 points.
Craig Dickinson was declared the winner in the ‘B’ on Saturday with a round of 37 points, while the runner up was Chris Hudson with 36 points.
The ball competition saw players with a score of 32 points on a count back receive a ball and they can be collected from the pro shop at the club anytime.
The winners of the Macleay Valley Vet Services ntp’s at the 3rd hole were Bryn Davies ‘A’, Troy Blanch ‘B’, Kevin Miller ‘C’. At the 8th hole winners were Brett Morrison ‘A’, Timothy Gregson ‘B’, Bert Splithof ‘C’. At the K&J Meats 11th hole the winners on Saturday were Kyle Moran ‘A’, Dickinson ‘B’, John Baker ‘C’. The winners of the Celebrations 16th hole were Ian Rudd ‘A’, Caleb Holtman ‘B’, Tim Mecham ‘C’, Natasha Dungay ‘L’.
At the Kempsey Golf Club tomorrow Members and visitors will be playing in the 2018 K&J Superior Meats 18 hole Medley Single Stableford event. All intending players can book in now at the club or go online to book in for your round. On the scoreboard roster tomorrow will be the week 3 team of Tony May & Glenn Coughran.
The winners of the Open Medley Single Stableford event held on Thursday May 10th saw Ray ( dapto) Campbell as the winner with 40 points with Graeme Irving the runner up on 35 and in 3rd place it was Malcolm Blanch with 33 points on a count back. Don’t forget the Thursday Open Stableford event is held each week with a walk up start from 7am. For more info about any upcoming event at the club just give the club a call.
On Sunday the club’s Pennant team will travel to Crescent Head for there last round robin game before they contest the semifinals. Good luck to the team on Sunday.
