The organisation has raised $948,056 over 30 years and Kempsey Cancerian secretary Samantha Dyet is hopeful they can crack the milestone.
“It would be great if we could crack the $1 million this year,” Ms Dyet said.
“Without the continued support of our sponsors, donators and our fabulous community this wouldn’t be possible.”
It will be a fun filled night with free drink on arrival, live auction, major raffles and fabulous food stations by the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club.
The Leg Shaker Richie Gudgeon will be providing live music for guests.
Some of the auction items up for sale include a holiday, beer fridge and two cartons of beer, surfboard signed by former world champion Mick Fanning, Parramatta Eels memorabilia, paintings and much more.
All proceeds from the fundraising efforts go to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation who invest these dollars into research to find a cure for cancer, because ‘Together we can out smart cancer’.
“A massive thank you to our major sponsors Jabiru Printing for all the design and printing for our event and to the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club and to all past and present sponsors and donators, the Macleay Valley is a truly giving community,” Ms Dyet said.
Tickets are available at the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club until Friday 3pm.
