The Everyday Hero Fundraiser organised by Heart Kids Australia is to raise money for children who live with congenital and childhood heart disease by providing high quality, caring support, information and advocacy and to give hope by driving world class research.
Rebecca Lewthwaite from C and G Electrics said it’s a great fundraiser for an issue that is close to her.
“It’s a bit emotional but exciting to see everyone dressed up and supporting this cause,” Ms Lewthwaite said.
The team took part in the fundraiser two years ago and are now hoping to raise even more money for the foundation.
“Anyone can come in and donate, we have a jar out the front and everyone has been really supportive,” Ms Lewthwaite said.
Locals can visit C and G Electrics in South St South Kempsey or Little Adventures Early Learning Centre in Tozer St, where the fundraiser is also being run, to donate to Heart Kids Australia.
