The carnival included schools from Camden Haven up to Nambucca Heads with students competing against each other for the chance to represent their school at the North Coast Carnival in August.
Carnival Organiser Col Hocking said this is a chance for students to showcase their athletic abilities and represent their school.
“These students all went well in their individual sport carnivals and now they are competing to be able to represent their schools at the North Coast Carnival later in the year,” Mr Hocking said.
Sporting events included a number of track and field sports ranging from shot put and discus to high jump and hurdles.
“The students that come first and second in their events today will progress to the next carnival in August and compete against a larger group of schools,” Mr Hocking said.
The North Coast Carnival will be held on August 9 in Coffs Harbour.
