Well-known local musician Andrew Best (on guitar and vocals) and Andy Hartly (on drums and vocals) have combined to put their new Funhouse show together aimed directly at those just wanting a great night out.
After decades of playing to crowds of all ages, the two local musicians have decided to put together a duo to please everyone. All of the ‘boring’ songs are gone, leaving only crowd-pleasers and party songs.
Take some modern artists like Train and The Black Eyed Peas and add some classics and a few one hit wonders and you have music made to party too.
Andy Hartly came to town two years ago from Melbourne and teamed up with Besty as the drummer for local band Thippence. He has played for a multitude of well-known musicians and has just finished a tour of Northern Queensland.
Andrew Best has been entertaining the local crowds since the age of 15 and travelled the country and the globe in the process. He knows what to play to keep people happy and as a result is heavily booked in the hotel and club circuit.
The duo will take centre stage at Crescent Head Country Club on Saturday, July 14 for a fun night full of the good stuff… good music and great company.
