The community event received plenty of positive feedback and the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club felt privileged to host a great local event for families and they plan on hosting another one in the near future.
There were more than 300 people there throughout the day to listen to bands Pam Hater and the Darren Jack Band.
The kids kept themselves busy with loads of activities available including the Tabitinga girls providing the face and plaster painting as well as cake decorating, there was three jumping castles and a petting zoo.
The Bucket Brewery were on site with taste testings and Lloyd was cooking at his stall providing great food all day.
The main event, the Buffalo Hot Wing eating competition, didn’t disappoint with 12 contestants lining up to take on the challenge.
The heat levels from one to five took their toll on most of the contestants.
Ben Hough proved to have the most tolerance and he was crowned the winner.
