The Saints entered the match on the back of three losses in four games, which included a 1-1 draw with the bottom-placed Wauchope.
However, they showed no signs of a struggling side as they piled on the goals and maintained their strength at the back to post their first clean sheet since their 2-0 win in round one over Wauchope.
The comfortable victory lifts the Saints into fourth position on the ladder and equal with Port United on competition points.
Port United have a game in hand after their match with the Camden Haven Redbacks was postponed due to the wet conditions.
Saints are also level on competition points with the Taree Wildcats, but they are ahead of them on the table due to a superior goal differential.
The goal scoring flurry from the Saints lifts their total goals scored for the season to 18. Meanwhile the side has conceded 20 goals.
It was an important victory for the Saints, as they now hold a six-competition point advantage over the Tigers and are four-competition points ahead of the Redbacks, who have a game in hand.
The Saints have an opportunity to demonstrate their title credentials when they travel to face Wallis Lake this Saturday.
Wallis Lake are undefeated and sit on the top of the competition table.
Saints lost 2-1 when they met earlier this season.
