Kinchela Public School students recently attended the PSSA Small Schools Athletics Carnival in Kempsey and they came away with some impressive results.

Abby Westerman was named the Senior Girl Champion at the carnival. Abby continues to demonstrate her leadership and caring attitude in how she conducts herself in and out of the school, especially at days like these.
Kinchela Public School defending their title in the P5 4x100m relay. Abby, Naitwon, Patrick and Brent powered home to the cheers of the crowd.
Naitwon, Patrick and Brent also placed in other events including sprints, discus, shot put and long jump.
The school sends its congratulations to all students for their sporting achievements on the day and for displaying fair and sportsmanlike behaviour.
Students who progressed will compete at the Macleay Athletics carnival in Kempsey on August 10.
