Emma Miller has been selected as the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club’s Sportsperson of the Month for her achievements in June.

Emma loves to give everything a good crack and has been training hard at Kempsey Little Athletics, Macleay Crossfit, Vicky’s Swimming and White Tiger Self Defence.
Emma recently came runner-up age champion at her School Sports carnival with a second place in the 800m, shot put, high jump and long jump and third places in 100m and 200m sprints.
Earlier in the year she also came second place at the school cross country and went on to compete at zone in Bowraville.
Emma collected a gold point score medal at Little Athletics for the 2017/2018 Season.
She also had a go in the South West Rocks Junior Triathlon and she has her blue belt in Karate.
For her selections as Sportsperson of the Month, Emma received a $100 voucher for the RSL’s restaurant.

A sportsperson of the year will be decided upon in January 2019 with an additional voucher of $500 for the restaurant awarded to the winner.
A panel of judges from the Macleay Argus will determine the monthly and year winners of the award.
Nominations need to be submitted by the first day of the next month.
