President Aileen Lewthwaite said the much-anticipated Father’s Day stall provided an opportunity to buy something handmade or homemade for Dad while supporting Kempsey’s excellent public hospital.
The stall will be held from 9am to noon on Wednesday August 29 at the Polwood Street entrance to the hospital.
Cakes, slices, homemade pies, handmade craft, chutneys, pickles, jams and so much more will be on sale.
The hospital volunteers are also offering locals the chance to win vouchers for retail goods and groceries, as well as a handmade crocheted rug, in their Father’s Day raffle. Tickets are available at the UHA’s regular street stall in West Kempsey, at the hospital next Tuesday, or at the Father’s Day stall.
Anyone wanting to join the volunteer group, and make new friends while helping patients and staff at Kempsey District Hospital, is encouraged to contact Mrs Lewthwaite on 6562-8000.
