A Great White Shark has been spotted by aerial surveillance cruising the coastal waters between South West Rocks and Hat Head this morning.

The shark was last spotted in shallow waters on the beach at Hat Head at 10.31am.
The great white was also sighted off the coast of Trial Bay Gaol at South West Rocks at 8.37am today.
The shark was spotted by aerial surveillance and alerted to the public by the Dorsal Shark Reports app.
The great white is an estimated to be between 2 and 2.6m in length.
The Macleay Argus attempted to contact the Hat Head Surf Life Saving Club for comment.
Swimmers are advised to be cautious when entering the water.
