The sixteen regional locations that will hold the event have been announced, including Westport Park in Port Macquarie for the 8th time on Friday November 9.
Newcastle Permanent Port Macquarie branch manager Adam Power said Newcastle Permanent hosts what began as a single event in Newcastle and is now Australia’s largest free regional outdoor cinema program.
“Newcastle Permanent is really proud to host free Cinema Under the Stars events in some of the most beautiful outdoor spaces in regional NSW, as a way to give back to families from the regions we operate in,” Mr Power said.
The movies selected for this years Cinema Under the Stars events are the family-friendly favourites The Greatest Showman and Paddington 2.
“This season’s movies will appeal to everyone – they’re truly family friendly, will delight all ages and were selected after asking our Facebook followers for their feedback.
“We can’t wait to get back to all the fantastic regional communities which already know and love these events.
“Each location will feature a great evening of free, family-friendly entertainment including local talented musicians, followed by the movie at sundown. We encourage everyone to come down from 5.30pm to settle in and relax with a picnic and experience the magical atmosphere of watching a popular family film in the great outdoors,” Mr Power said.
