The nine-year-old made the transition into the Under 9 to 13 65cc and the Under 9 to 11 age group for the 80 modified and 150cc divisions.
Jayden dominated all three divisions, winning eight of his nine heats but unfortunately he crashed out in the final of the 80 mod, which prevented him from capturing three titles.
However, Jayden made up for the mistake as he showcased his elite class in the 65cc and 150cc divisions.
Jayden produced a near perfect race as he led from start to finish in the final of the 150cc while he was made to work in the 65cc final.
Jayden missed the start but was able to weave his way past his opponents to claim the victory.
Jayden’s uncle Dylan was surprised his nephew was able to maintain his dominance despite moving up classes and age groups.
“We know how talented he is but it was still a bit of a shock to see him dominate against the older kids,” Dylan told the Argus.
“We thought it would take him a bit of time to adjust but it was business as usual for him once he got on the bike.
“He finished in first in all of his heats except for one, which he finished in second place.”
Dylan was impressed with Jayden’s ability to keep his composure despite falling behind in the final of the 65cc.
“He missed the start and was near the back of the pack but he managed to stick to it and overtake everyone,” Dylan said.
“It was a brilliant win by the young guy and it shows he can win from anywhere.”
The victories cap off another successful year for Jayden, as he also claimed two Australian titles at Newcastle in August and a NSW title on the Central Coast in September.
Jayden expressed his gratitude to his sponsors SSS motorcycles and DCR Darren Carney Racing and also to his parents and Aunty and Uncle who give him plenty of support.
Also to Trent O’Donnell for providing Jayden with the 80 modified bike.
Jayden’s focus now turns to competing in the support classes at the Akubra Classic held in Kempsey on Sunday November 4 before he begins his preparation for next year.
